Starting September 15, Thomson Reuters will offer rebates on all SKUs sold through Ingram Micro. With back to school in full swing and a major update coming on September 30, demand for EndNote X7 is expected to be up in the academic and corporate markets thru Q4.
For the first time in over 20 years, Thomson Reuters have ditched the annual release and instead promised their strong user base continued development of their current version, EndNote X7. And it appears they are delivering on that promise.
In late September, Thomson Reuters will release an update to X7 that will give all X7 users the ability to share their research library. This release opens a major sales opportunity for the tens of thousands EndNote users that have not yet upgraded to X7. And, library sharing is expected to increase overall demand and create a significant base of new users as well.
Kicking off September 15, the program offers $30 rebates on the individual license (MSRP USD$299.95) and $10 rebates on the upgrade license (MSRP USD$109.95), as well as rebates on other SKUs. This rebate program and high demand through the fall look to be setting up EndNote resellers to close Q4 strong.
