Event Recap: Physical Security Customer Appreciation Event and Boot Camp, Philadelphia, PA

Last week, Ingram Micro’s Physical Security Technology Campaign hosted two events for our top resellers. The Physical Security team took over Philadelphia, PA for our Customer Appreciation Event on November 26th and our Physical Security Boot Camp on November 27th – 28th.

We started the week with our Customer Appreciation Event, a seminar and sports outing, sponsored by Dotworkz, PowerDsine and Sony. The evening began with manufacturer presentations in the Citizens Bank Park’s Hall of Fame Club, followed by dinner and drinks at the Citizens Bank Park’s Diamond Club.

The business continued as the Physical Security Boot Camp started the next day. The goals of the Physical Security Boot Camp are to help solution providers effectively sell physical security, strengthen their customer relationships, understand key market trends, and identify opportunities.

The training included presentations from our manufacturer partners: Axis, Intel, PowerDsine, Toshiba and Sony. We had industry speakers including Guy Reams, Professor at Mt. San Jacinto College as well as Ingram Micro associates, Shawn Enides and Mark Baxter, Senior Business Development Managers and Andrey Nedranets, Technology Solutions Engineer for the Physical Security team.

Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to sit with manufacturers during the speed partnering to see live demonstrations. It was a very successful event and we thank our manufacturer partners and resellers for attending.
