When speaking with our customers and manufacturer partners, we noticed the increasing need for Mac-friendly digital signage solutions. With so many content creation programs like Flash, Photoshop, etc. made for Mac and most true digital signage networks based on Windows, it was a challenge for many to come to one total solution when creating and managing content.
At our Technology Solutions Summit on July 10-12 in Nashville, we tackled this issue by bringing in leading experts and our manufacturer partners to discuss new technologies and effective ways to deliver targeted information and to more people with more impact. Attending solution providers had the opportunity to spend one on one time with the 23 manufacturers focused on projectors, displays, Mac compatible software and many more.
Not only were solution providers able to spend one on one time with manufacturer partners, but they also had the opportunity to attend an interactive panel discussion with industry experts and leaders from Ingram Micro including Mike Diamond, Sr. Analyst from the Business Intelligence team; Tom Jones, Technology Solutions Engineer; Kevin Prewett, VP of ProAV/Digital Signage Division; Farrah Zidehsarai, Sr. Vendor Business Manager representing Apple and lastly, Mike Ohren, CEO of MacMan Inc. to provide a solution provider point of view. They discussed where they see the digital signage industry moving towards, where the additional opportunities are happening, and they also had the chance to answer questions from the audience.
It was a jam packed 2 days with lots of great conversations, valuable information and ideas to help customers generate new business as well as increase margins on existing business. We tackled many solutions providers’ questions and concerns about digital signage solutions and using Mac-compatible technology to create one solution. It was a great experience for all and we look forward to the next one.
