Event Recap: Retail and Hospitality Solutions Conference, April 17-18, 2012, Chicago, IL

Ingram Micro took over Chi-Town in April for the first ever Retail and Hospitality Solutions Conference, an interactive, energizing, and informative session on the tremendous sales opportunities to be found in two unique markets. At this two-day conference, over 50 solution providers received important information on ProAV/Digital Signage and Physical Security solutions within the retail and hospitality vertical markets.

This event took place at the Palmer House Hilton, one of the oldest continually operating hotels in the nation. The Palmer House Hilton also hosted many prominent figures including U.S. presidents, Charles Dickens, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

Our manufacturer partners demonstrated how to take advantage of these emerging and converging technologies to target the right customers and grow businesses. Resellers learned how to leverage the available Ingram Micro resources to expand their business and become a trusted advisor to their customers.

Our first day was jam-packed, with industry presentations from the Ingram Micro ProAV/Digital Signage team, an end user panel discussion and a technology fair. We ended the day in a luxury suite at U.S. Cellular Field as the White Sox took on the Baltimore Orioles.
